Steam Deck prices just jumped up $300 and stock still sold out

Valve raised Steam Deck OLED prices in the U.S. by as much as $300, with the 512GB model jumping to $789 and the 1TB model to $949.

The LCD Steam Deck remains discontinued, and U.S. stock quickly sold out again after the price update.

Some other regions still showed availability, but the new pricing makes Valve’s handheld much less competitive.

The increase reflects wider hardware cost pressure as memory prices rise across the industry, driven in part by AI demand.
