Three US states to deploy 60mph drones armed with pepper spray to neutralize school shooters — ‘Campus Guardian Angel’ drones can also smash windows and ram attackers

Mithril Defense is launching a pilot for its Campus Guardian Angel drones in schools in Florida, Georgia, and Colorado.

The drones would be stored on campus and activated by staff via an app or panic button during an active shooter event.

They are designed to deter attackers using lights, loud noise, pepper spray, and physical impact.

The program aims to provide a faster security response, but it also raises concerns about cost, safety, and whether prevention would work better.
