Apple launches official program for leasing Macs as AI price crunch bites — 24- and 36-month leasing options provided by Klarna

Apple launched Apple Upgrade, a new U.S. device leasing program powered by Klarna.

The program lets customers lease Macs and iPads for 24 or 36 months, and iPhones and Apple Watches for 12 or 24 months.

At the end of a lease, users can return the device, start a new lease, or buy it outright.

Apple says Apple Upgrade will replace the iPhone Upgrade Program in the U.S., offering another path to upgrades amid higher device prices.
