Intel’s Premium Lunar Lake Laptops Crash To $600 In China, Undercutting Budget Wildcat Lake Models They Were Meant To Sit Above

Intel’s Lunar Lake laptops, especially Core Ultra 5 226V models, are seeing repeated discounts in mainland China.

Some systems, including the Mechrevo 16S 2026, have dropped to around 4,099 yuan, or about $600.

That price brings a premium 8-core Lunar Lake platform into the same range as some entry-level Wildcat Lake laptops.

The move could reshape buying decisions and add pressure to laptop pricing across segments.
