Path of Exile 2 just shattered its biggest barrier to entry, even leapfrogging Diablo 4

Grinding Gear Games says Path of Exile 2’s 0.5 update adds in-game build guidance to make the ARPG easier to learn.

Players can import build plans, see skill and support gem priorities, and get item stat tips without relying as much on external tools like Path of Building.

The update also adds clearer endgame and crafting guidance, lowering a major barrier for new players in a notoriously complex game.

The changes could make Path of Exile 2 more approachable than competitors like Diablo 4 for players who want deeper systems with better onboarding.
