CXMT On The Priority List For A Spate Of China’s New Homegrown DUV Machines, Neutralizing The US MATCH Act, And Bolstering Its Big Bet On 3D DRAM

CXMT is set to receive one of China’s first domestically made 28nm immersion DUV lithography tools.

The supplier plans to ship 5 units this year and 20 next year, with SMIC and Hua Hong also among the first buyers.

The move is meant to cut reliance on Western equipment and support CXMT’s memory capacity expansion.

It could also help China advance toward next-generation 3D DRAM despite tighter US export controls.
