US FCC Blacklists Foreign Robots on Huawei List as Surveillance Fears Grow – Striking NVIDIA Partner Unitree As Well

The FCC expanded its Covered List to restrict imports of certain foreign-made advanced robots and connected power inverters.

The agency said the devices pose supply chain, cybersecurity, and surveillance risks to U.S. infrastructure.

Chinese robotics maker Unitree, a NVIDIA partner, is expected to be among the most affected.

The restrictions apply only to new products, not existing devices already on the market.
