Framework is building a better couch keyboard because everyone hates the Logitech one

Framework is developing a wireless couch keyboard with an integrated touchpad, aiming to offer a better alternative to the widely disliked Logitech K400.

The device is based on the Framework Laptop 12 keyboard hardware and will support multiple Bluetooth hosts, a USB-A dongle, and wired USB-C.

Framework also plans to release the control board and CAD files so others can build custom accessories and keyboards.

The product could appeal to PC users who want a better living-room keyboard while expanding Framework’s open hardware ecosystem.
