League of Legends Classic - Release date, champions, progression

Riot Games will launch League of Legends Classic on July 29 as a Season 3-inspired mode.

The mode will be available through a separate tab in the Riot client and features a 60-champion roster.

Classic brings back old rune and mastery systems, along with a new free Classic Level progression track.

Players can earn unlocks and rewards through Classic Level and Seasonal Classic Passes, adding modern progression to the nostalgic mode.
