Valve Is Opening a Reservation Queue for the Steam Controller Following Overwhelming Initial Demand

Valve is opening a reservation queue for the Steam Controller after the device sold out almost immediately at launch.

The queue starts May 8 at 10 a.m. PT, and buyers need a Steam account in good standing plus a purchase before April 27, 2026.

Customers can reserve one unit and will have 72 hours to complete the purchase once the order email arrives.

Fulfillment begins next week in the US and Canada, with the UK, EU, and Australia following later.
