Samsung Expands Odyssey G8 Lineup With 6K@165Hz, 5K@180Hz, and 4K@240Hz OLED Monitors, All Running 4th-Gen Penta Tandem Panels

Samsung expanded its Odyssey G8 OLED lineup with three new high-end gaming monitors: the G80HS, G80HF, and G80SH.

The G80HS is billed as the first 6K gaming monitor, with a 165Hz mode and a 3K 330Hz mode.

The G80HF is a 5K model offering 180Hz and 1440p 360Hz modes, while the G80SH is a 4K 240Hz display in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes.

All three use Samsung’s 4th-gen Penta Tandem OLED panels and include DisplayPort 2.1, FreeSync Premium, G-Sync, and HDR10+ Gaming.

The launch pushes premium gaming displays further by pairing ultra-high refresh rates with newer OLED panel technology.
