Report: iPhone 17 ranked as world’s top-selling smartphone in Q1 2026

Counterpoint’s preliminary Q1 2026 data says the iPhone 17 was the world’s best-selling smartphone, taking a 6% global sales share.

Apple also swept the top three spots with the iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone 17 Pro, underscoring strong demand for premium iPhones.

Apple placed four models in the global top 10, while Samsung and Xiaomi filled the remaining slots.

The report suggests smartphone sales are increasingly concentrated among a small number of best-selling devices.
