Japanese Charts: Tomodachi Life's Huge Start Crushes The Competition

Famitsu’s weekly Japan charts were led by Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, which sold 565,405 copies in its debut week.

Pragmata followed in second place on PS5 with 36,470 copies sold, far behind the Nintendo title.

Nintendo Switch hardware also got a boost, with Switch 2 leading family sales at 44,280 units.

The results highlight a major first-week hit for Nintendo in Japan and weaker momentum for PS5.
