GRAI believes AI can make music more social, not replace artists

AI music social startup GRAI has raised a $9 million seed round.

Instead of generating songs from scratch, GRAI is building AI apps for remixing, sharing, and interactive music use.

The company is testing iOS and Android apps and working with labels and artists on permission-based remixing.

GRAI aims to expand fan engagement while preserving artist control and creating new royalty and revenue models.
