Amazon is reportedly moving away from Android for its new streaming sticks

Amazon appears to be shifting its newest Fire TV Sticks from Android-based Fire OS to Vega OS.

The Fire TV Stick 4K Select and a new Fire TV Stick HD are already reported to run Vega OS.

A full move to Vega OS could make sideloading and customization more limited.

That would affect power users and could reshape the broader streaming-device market.
