Nvidia announces RTX Spark as ‘the most efficient PC chip ever built’

Nvidia unveiled RTX Spark, its first chip family aimed at full consumer PCs rather than just graphics.

The flagship uses the GB10 design from DGX Spark, with 20 CPU cores, 6,144 GPU cores, and 128GB of LPDDR5X memory.

Lower-cost versions with as little as 16GB of RAM are planned, targeting thin-and-light laptops and mini-PCs.

Nvidia says RTX Spark will handle demanding creative work and on-device AI agents, with Microsoft and other OEMs set to ship devices this fall.

The move puts Nvidia in more direct competition with Intel, AMD, Apple, and Qualcomm in Arm-based consumer PCs.
