Telehealth giant Hims & Hers says its customer support system was hacked

Hims & Hers filed a data breach notice with the California attorney general after hackers accessed its third-party support ticketing system.

The attackers broke into the ticketing system between February 4 and February 7 and stole support tickets containing customer names and contact information.

Hims & Hers said medical records were not affected and attributed the incident to a social engineering attack on employees.

The company has not disclosed how many individuals were affected or whether it received any communication from the hackers.
