Ex-StarCraft Devs Announce New Strategy Shooter Game Vaunted

Lost Lake Games, led by former StarCraft designer James Phinney, revealed its debut game Vaunted at the Xbox Partner Showcase.

Vaunted blends turn-based movement with third-person shooting and includes character skill trees and randomized power-ups.

Players control three interstellar treasure hunters and the story features branching outcomes via unreliable narrators.

The studio said Vaunted will launch sometime in 2026 and is expected as a PC exclusive on major stores.
