Second SpaceX Satellite Abruptly Explodes

SpaceX reported a second Starlink satellite experienced an anomaly and appears to have broken up into tens of fragments.

Leo Labs said the breakup likely came from an internal energetic source and expected fragments to de-orbit within weeks due to the low altitude.

SpaceX said the incident poses no risk to the ISS or the upcoming Artemis 2 launch and is investigating the root cause.
