‘World’s most powerful redox flow battery’ could power 210,000 Swiss homes for a day

FlexBase is building a billion-dollar redox flow battery facility in Laufenburg, Switzerland.

The project is expected to exceed 2.1 GWh of storage by 2029, enough to power about 210,000 Swiss homes for a day.

It would become the world’s most powerful redox flow battery if completed.

The plant is designed to support grid stability, store renewable energy, and supply nearby AI data centers.
