Micron 3 GB GDDR7 Memory Rolling Out Now – Will Be Great To Expand Memory On Entry-Tier GPUs

Micron has added 3 GB GDDR7 graphics memory chips to its catalog and is rolling them out.

Its 28 GT/s parts are already in production, while 32 GT/s parts are in sampling.

That puts Micron alongside Samsung and SK Hynix as a supplier of high-capacity GDDR7.

The added supply could give NVIDIA more room to use larger VRAM configs in future entry-level and refreshed RTX 50-series GPUs.
