Former Nintendo Sales Lead Predicts Switch 2 Price Increase

A former Nintendo sales lead said on the Kit and Krysta Podcast that the Switch 2 will likely see a hardware price increase.

Nintendo will price digital Switch 2 games lower than physical copies starting May 21, beginning with Yoshi and the Mysterious Book.

The Switch 2 has retailed at $449 since its June 2025 launch, while PS5 prices are rising amid a global RAM shortage.
