"Chromebook Continues" — Google Reaffirms 10-Year Update Promise Following "Googlebook" Announcement

Google says school and business Chromebooks will keep getting automatic updates for the next 10 years.

Existing centralized management tools will remain in place, easing concerns for IT admins and fleet owners.

ChromeOS Flex is being highlighted as a way to extend the life of older PCs.

Google also says it will provide multiple migration paths to a new Gemini-centered Googlebook platform in the future.
