Exclusive: Next-generation TCL NXTPAPER aims to fix everything that's wrong with OLED

TCL says NXTPAPER is moving from LCD to OLED in its next generation display.

The company claims 3840Hz PWM dimming and other design choices will reduce flicker and improve eye comfort.

If it works, TCL could show that OLED’s visual advantages don’t have to come with the usual discomfort for sensitive users.

That could push rivals like Samsung, Google, and Apple to put more emphasis on eye-friendly display tuning.
