Delta is bringing free Wi-Fi to flights using Amazon's satellites

Delta has agreed to a multi-year deal with Amazon to deliver gate-to-gate Wi‑Fi using the Leo satellite network.

The initial rollout will equip 500 Delta aircraft and the service will be free for SkyMiles members.

Each plane will use a Leo Ultra phased array antenna with up to 1 Gbps download and about 400 Mbps upload speeds.

Delta said the rollout will begin in 2028 and did not disclose financial terms or the full timeline for outfitting the fleet.
