Director Park In-kyu of the Science and Technology Innovation Headquarters holds a meeting with members of the committee drafting the 6th Basic Plan for Science and Technology

South Korea’s science ministry reviewed the draft Sixth Basic Plan for Science and Technology, covering 2026–2030 policy directions.

Park In-kyu met with the plan’s drafters to discuss major priorities for the country’s science and technology strategy.

The draft was shaped through expert committees and meetings, and will undergo a public hearing on the 28th.

The ministry expects the plan to be finalized in June after review by the National Science and Technology Advisory Council.
