Unastella, a South Korean rocket startup that launched from home, raises $24M

Unastella raised $24 million in Series B funding, bringing its total capital to $44 million.

The South Korean rocket startup recently launched its UNA EXPRESS-I vehicle from Korea in May 2025.

It is developing launch vehicles and engines for small satellite missions, with plans to scale to orbital and eventually crewed suborbital flights.

Altos Ventures led the round, alongside Korean and other backers, with support from state institutions such as KARI and KASA.
