LG CNS joins global AI materials alliance... supports AX for Korean companies

LG CNS has joined CuspAI’s AI Materials Foundry as a founding member in a 48-member global alliance for AI-driven materials discovery.

The company will run the platform’s Korean deployment and operations, helping local firms connect data, read results, and maintain systems.

Customer data will remain isolated, and patent rights will stay with the client, easing adoption for domestic companies.

The partnership could help Korean manufacturers cut the time and cost of developing new materials without building costly in-house R&D infrastructure.
