Google Vids adds 10 monthly free video generations and Chrome extension

Google added new AI features to Google Vids, including video and music generation.

Individual Google account users can generate up to 10 videos per month for free using the Veo 3.1 model.

Paid tiers allow higher usage, with Google AI Ultra and Workspace AI Ultra supporting up to 1,000 videos monthly.

A free Chrome extension, Google Vids Screen Recorder, lets users record browser screens and their own video and export to YouTube.
