Dolby Atmos Is Coming To Android Auto

Dolby Atmos is coming to Google’s Android Auto through supported apps and compatible vehicles.

Dolby says early support is already lined up with several automakers, including BMW, Genesis, Mahindra, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Skoda, Tata, and Volvo.

A wider rollout is expected before the end of 2026, bringing spatial audio to more cars over time.

The move could make premium immersive sound more common in everyday in-car entertainment.
