Google’s April 2026 Pixel update tackles some annoying bugs

Google has started rolling out the April 2026 update for supported Pixel phones and tablets.

The update follows March 2026’s Feature Drop and focuses on bug fixes and improvements.

Fixes include a Pixel 10 family patch for games that were crashing and a Quick Share crash fix for Pixel 9 and its Pro models.

Other fixes cover a missing Backup menu in System settings, crashes in some banking and third‑party apps, and a quick search bar that could disappear from the home screen.

Google shared the release notes on its support forums; fixes apply to all supported Pixel devices unless otherwise indicated.
