Russia has found in China something more important than drones: secret training for the war in Ukraine

Reuters reports China quietly trained about 200 Russian service members in late 2025 on FPV drones, electronic warfare, aviation, mechanized infantry, and demining.

Some of the trainees later fought in occupied Crimea and Zaporiyia, suggesting the instruction may have fed directly into operations in Ukraine.

The report says the arrangement goes beyond equipment support and gives Russia battlefield know-how while providing China with real-world lessons from the war.
