Apple Maps to be directly integrated into Ford's next-generation EVs, with new SDK enabling navigation without CarPlay

Apple and Ford plan to integrate Apple Maps directly into Ford’s next-gen UEV Platform EVs starting in 2027.

The new MapKit for Automotive SDK will let in-car navigation run on the vehicle display without relying on CarPlay.
