Google is assembling the pieces for enterprise AI agents, now adoption becomes the challenge

At Cloud Next 2026, Google expanded its Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform for building and running enterprise AI agents.

The update adds low-code and no-code agent tools, broader Gemini Enterprise access, and a marketplace for agents.

Google also introduced governance and observability features like Agent Identity, Gateway, Monitoring, and Simulation.

The bigger challenge is not launching the platform, but getting businesses to adopt and manage agents at scale.
