'Yoshi And The Mysterious Book' Game Engine Seemingly Revealed

A Switch 2 preload reportedly suggests Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is built on Unreal Engine 5.

The clue comes from plugin license references, backing up earlier hints that the game uses Unreal Engine.

If true, this would mark a technical upgrade from Yoshi’s Crafted World and give an early look at a major Switch 2 title.

Nintendo has not confirmed the engine or release details yet.
