Former Li Auto Executives Launch Embodied AI Startup, First Product Due in H1 Next Year

Huawei announced it has connected 170 million people in remote areas across more than 80 countries, surpassing its ITU P2C pledge.

The announcement was made by Yang Chaobin at the TECH Cares Forum in Barcelona, which gathered about 80 guests from governments and international bodies.

Huawei cited RuralCow and other rural network solutions and its Skills on Wheels program as contributors to the connectivity milestone.

Huawei said it will continue innovating rural network technologies and expanding digital skills initiatives with partners.
