Two Tokyo stores of Daiei to be rebranded as AEON, in Musashimurayama and Nishidai

Aeon Retail will reopen two long-running Tokyo Daiei stores in June under the Aeon Style brand.

The former Daiei Musashimurayama and Daiei Nishidai stores will become Aeon Style Musashimurayama Minami and Aeon Style Nishidai.

The revamped stores will focus on food, fresh produce, and deli items, with added convenience features like Regi Go and same-day delivery.

The rebrand signals Aeon’s push to strengthen its supermarket format for local neighborhood shoppers.
