SNK revives NeoGeo AES with modern upgrades and HDMI support

SNK and Plaion have unveiled the modernized NeoGeo AES+, which still supports original cartridges.

The new system adds HDMI output, 1080p video, on-device BIOS and DIP switch controls, and lower power use.

It also includes high-score saving and is set to launch on November 12 in multiple editions.

Updated accessories, including an arcade stick and memory card, will ship alongside the console.
