Anthropic Plots Major London Expansion

Anthropic is moving to a much larger London office to expand its European research and commercial footprint.

The company plans to hire more staff and deepen partnerships with UK AI institutions and government groups.

The move adds to the intense competition for AI talent in London among Anthropic, OpenAI, Google DeepMind and others.

It could also strengthen Anthropic’s role in European business growth and AI safety and policy discussions.
