LG unveils the world's first 1080p gaming monitor with a native 1,000Hz refresh rate

LG unveiled the UltraGear 25G590B, a 24.5-inch Full HD esports monitor with a native 1,000Hz refresh rate.

The monitor uses an IPS panel and adds blur-reduction and AI-based features such as Motion Blur Reduction Pro and AI Scene Optimization.

It is slated to launch in select markets in the second half of 2026, but pricing and some specifications have not been disclosed.

The launch raises the bar for 1080p gaming displays and intensifies the race among monitor makers on speed-focused features.
