The ERP that doesn’t care which AI you use, and why that’s smart

At SuiteConnect London 2026 NetSuite announced three extensions to its AI Connector Service that enable external AI models to access NetSuite data.

NetSuite said OpenAI's adoption of the Model Context Protocol prompted it to support MCP and connect external assistants via MCP Apps and the Companion prompt library.

The Companion provides over 100 financial prompt templates built from insights across NetSuite's 43,000 customers, while NetSuite Analytics Warehouse opens historical and external data to AI.

NetSuite will keep its embedded Ask Oracle assistant and use specialized models for specific tasks while enabling external models to work alongside it.
