From Gray Rooftops to Forests: KT Runs Rooftop Ecology Class with Children

KT held a rooftop 'forest-making' activity on April 3 at its Gwanghwamun WEST building rooftop with daycare children and parents.

The program was an urban ecology experience jointly prepared by KT and the National Institute of Ecology under a 2025 memorandum for climate and biodiversity.

About 20 participants planted and tended rooftop beds and joined experiential lessons on spring plants led by National Institute of Ecology instructors.

KT said it will continue hands-on biodiversity education with the National Institute of Ecology and expand ICT-based ecological observation cooperation.
