Galaxy Z Fold 8 series trade-ins top out at $1,200 no matter which one you get

Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Fold 8 Ultra with trade-in credits of up to $1,200 on either model.

The launch includes extra perks such as a PayPal checkout discount and instant credit on Samsung.com pre-orders.

Samsung also tightened which devices qualify for some trade-ins, limiting the best discounts for certain phones.

Galaxy Z Flip 8 buyers can still get up to $600 in trade-in value, depending on the device they exchange.
