WhatsApp Gets New CarPlay App

WhatsApp released an updated CarPlay app with a full native interface showing recent chats, call history, and favorites.

The app adds quick buttons to send messages via dictation and to place calls from the car screen.

The updated CarPlay app was in testing last week and is available after updating WhatsApp on an iPhone and connecting to a CarPlay vehicle.
