GNM Head: A Generative Anthropometric Model of the Human Head

Researchers released GNM Head, a parametric 3D head model that covers not only the face but also the neck, eyes, teeth, and tongue.

The model was trained on high-resolution 3D scans and anatomy-specific artist-made samples, giving it broader anatomical coverage than typical face models.

By representing ocular and intra-oral structures in addition to outer facial shape, it can improve 3D fitting and spatial control for generative tools.

The full framework is now publicly available for computer vision and graphics research.
