Samsung confirms Galaxy S26 will 'soon' support iPhone AirDrop via Quick Share

Samsung will add AirDrop support to Quick Share on Galaxy S26, samsung said the Galaxy S26 series will gain Quick Share support for AirDrop.

Will provide the feature sequentially via software updates, the company said the feature will be delivered through software updates.

Galaxy S26 did not support AirDrop via Quick Share at launch the feature was not available at Galaxy S26 launch.

Quick Share will allow file transfers with iPhone, iPad, and Mac without extra apps users can send and receive files between Galaxy and Apple devices when enabled.

File sharing setting requires visibility set to 'Everyone' on both devices device visibility must be set to 'Everyone' for transfers.
