20th Anniversary iPhone to Feature Custom 'Micro-Curved' OLED Panel

Apple is reportedly working with Samsung on a custom micro-curved OLED for the 20th-anniversary iPhone.

The panel may curve very slightly on all four edges, drop the polarizer layer, and boost brightness for a thinner display.

Apple is also said to be testing stronger anti-reflective coatings and possibly under-display Face ID or camera parts.

If realized, the redesign could help the 2027 flagship achieve a more seamless, all-glass, near bezel-less look.
