Fire at Dutch NorthC data center, all personnel evacuated in time

A major fire broke out Thursday morning at NorthC’s data center in Almere.

Authorities issued an NL-Alert, activated a GRIP1 emergency response, and evacuated everyone inside.

Firefighters were still battling the blaze hours later, with damage and service impact not yet clear.

The incident could disrupt customer services and other critical infrastructure while the site is secured and assessed.
