IOI Says "A Little Controversy" Is "A Good Thing" When It Comes To James Bond

IO Interactive says the mixed reaction to its younger James Bond in 007 First Light is expected and even welcome.

The studio praised Patrick Gibson’s performance and said this Bond is a less world-weary version that will develop over the story.

Developers also highlighted the game’s combat flow, where Bond can move from stealth or melee into gunfights as enemies arm themselves.

007 First Light launches on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series on May 27, with a Switch 2 version arriving later this summer.
