Apple iPhone 18 Pro To Debut Camera Upgrade That Costs 50% More To Make, Analyst Claims

Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max are expected to add a variable-aperture main camera for better flexibility and low-light shots.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says the new lens could cost about 50% more than Apple’s current high-end camera parts.

The higher camera cost adds pressure as Apple also faces pricier memory and RAM components.
